Root Canal Treatment

A root canal treatment helps treat a tooth when the inner pulp becomes infected, inflamed or damaged. Instead of removing the tooth, the infected tissue is carefully removed, the root canals are cleaned and shaped, and the tooth is sealed to help preserve its function.
 

At our clinic, root canal procedures are performed with rubber dam isolation and magnification under dental loupes. Where the clinical condition allows, single-sitting root canal treatment may also be planned.

Root Canal Treatment Under Dental Loupes

Dental loupes provide magnification and improved visibility of the treatment area, allowing the dentist to work with greater visual control during the root canal procedure. Particularly useful when locating and treating the small structures inside a tooth.

Root Canal Treatment with Rubber Dam

A rubber dam is used to isolate the tooth being treated from the surrounding oral environment.

It helps keep the treatment area controlled and dry while reducing contamination from saliva during the procedure.

Single-Sitting Root Canal Treatment

Some root canal cases can be completed in a single sitting, depending on factors such as the condition of the tooth, infection and overall clinical assessment.

Single-sitting treatment can reduce the number of appointments required while allowing the tooth to proceed toward its final restoration.
